Cutting agility – change of direction – acceleration / deceleration – fan drill - forwards and backwards run with reach

Place five cones on the ground in front of you, equidistant apart, as shown in the diagram.
Stand next to cone one facing forwards, light on your toes.
When ready, run to touch cone two, then run backwards to touch cone one.
Run to touch cone three, then run backwards to touch cone one.
Run to touch cone four, then run backwards to touch cone one.
Run to touch cone five, then run backwards to touch cone one.
Pause and repeat.
