Hip extension in side-lying (adaptive) - residual limb

Lie on your side with your sound leg bent underneath you.
Keeping your knee straight, push your residual limb straight behind you.
The majority of the effort should be coming from your buttock muscles.
Hold for a moment.
Then return to the starting position.
