If available, you can use a cable machine for this exercise.
Alternatively, fix a resistance band to a solid object at footrest height.
Sit in your wheelchair with the resistance band in front of you and hold the end in one hand.
Ensure the brakes are applied.
Pick up the slack in the resistance band by wrapping it around your hand.
When ready, lead with your elbow and then rotate your trunk away from the anchor point against the resistance of the band, as if starting a lawnmower.
Return to the start position, and repeat
