Modified child pose with side flexion - overlap hands

Modified child pose with side flexion - overlap hands

Start on your hands and knees and prepare to focus on either the right or the left side of the body.
To stretch out the right side of the body, place your right hand on top of your left hand.
Inhale and start flexing the spine from the pelvis, pulling gently through your navel and flexing your entire spine.
As you exhale, bend your knees and sit gently on your heels.
You will feel a stretch all along the right side of your arm and chest.
If you don't feel the stretch enough, you can very slightly lean over towards the right.
From this position, come back sitting on both knees.
Inhale, push your chin into the floor and come back on all fours, keeping your spine C-shaped.
Finally, exhale and soften your spine to come back into a neutral all fours position
