Motor Control (Hip Flexion/Extension) Multifidus Activation
Stand in chest deep water. Press your fingers firmly into the back muscle about 2 cm from your spine on both sides. The role of your hands is to identify when the muscles underneath the fingers activate.
Swing one leg forwards and backwards. Try to maintain the muscle contraction underneath your fingers at all times when performing lower limb movements. Repeat with the other side.
