This exercise stretches the hamstring muscles, located behind your thigh.
Lie on your back with one leg bent and the other stretched out with a belt or towel around the ball your foot.
Using the belt lift your foot up with your leg straight until you feel a stretch down the back of your thigh.
Hold this position,lower your leg back down and repeat with the other leg.
If during this exercise, you feel any shooting pain in your back or down your leg, stop this exercise and consult your doctor.
