Stand up straight with a step behind you.
Rest the toes of one foot onto the step, and keep your other foot on the ground.
Using your arms to generate upward momentum, push through the ball of your stance foot and drive this knee upwards, jumping into the air.
Upon landing on the same leg, immediately spring back into the air and rapidly repeat.
Your rear foot should remain in contact with the step throughout this exercise.
