Sit up straight in your chair with the rubber band in one hand.
The other end of the band should be tied on the other side, to your chair or a sturdy object at knee height.
Pull the band diagonally up and across your body in a gradual motion.
Finish with your arm as high as you can go, up and away from your body.
Your palm should face forward.
Control the movement as you bring your arm back down.
