Prone arm lift with elbows slightly bent (Lower Trapezius)

Lie on your stomach and rest your forehead on a folded towel.
If advised, place a pillow under your chest.
Place your arms overhead with your elbows bent to about 45 degrees.
Turn your hand and forearm so that your thumbs point toward the ceiling.
Pull your shoulder blades back and slightly down as you lift your arms off the surface.
Do not let your elbows turn up as you lift your arm.
This is a small motion that starts with the shoulder blades.
Do not lift your arms in the shoulder joint only.
Hold for a moment.
