Resisted finger hook flexion (intrinsic minus position) with therapy putty on table

Sit upright in a chair.
Place the putty flat on the table.
Place your hand over the putty, pushing your fingertips into it.
Pull the putty towards you, bending the tips and middle joints of your fingers only.
Your wrist and forearm should not move on the table.
Squeeze the putty in as far as you can and hold this position.
