Sit up straight looking directly ahead.
Take your opposite hand to the side you want to work.
Grasp the muscles running from the side of your neck to the top of your shoulder between your thumb and fingers.
Squeezing and lifting the tissues, work your way along the length of the muscles.
When you feel a tender spot, lift and hold this area, then tilt your head down towards your opposite shoulder.
Ensure your gaze remains directly ahead.
