Shoulder abduction with external rotation against a wall

Stand sideways close to a wall and bend your elbow on the side of the wall.
Turn to face slightly away from the wall.
Place a small towel or a plastic bag between the back of your hand and the wall.
Apply gentle pressure to the wall with the back of your hand.
When ready, simultaneously slide your hand upwards maintaining the gentle pressure as you take a step forward with either leg.
Return to the starting position.
