Sit on a chair, next to a table or other surface, with your back and neck long.
Attach a dumbbell to your prosthetic limb.
Consider using an adapted grip with your prosthetic or a wrist wrap to ensure the dumbbell is secure.
Rest your forearm on the table in front of you with your elbow bent.
Use a book or a folded towel to lift the elbow, if needed, to keep the shoulders level.
Keep your elbow in place on the table, then lift your hand up to point toward the ceiling.
Control the weight as you return to the starting position.
