Single-leg eccentric calf exercises on step

Stand on a step with your legs at hip width apart.
Move backwards so your heels are over the edge of the step.
Rise up on to your toes as far as you can, use your hands to assist stability.
Lift your good foot up off the floor so you remain standing on your affected foot.
Lower back down over the edge of the step using your affected foot only and then repeat the movement.
When you raise back up use both feet.
